Tom Romeo has been charming audiences with his unique performances of traditional, contemporary and original stories and poems since the mid ‘70’s. He has appeared at colleges, libraries and festivals, performing as a solo artist and as a member of the Long Island Poetry Collective, the Performance Poets Association, and the Long Island Poetry Repertory Theater. His work has appeared in a variety of publications including Creations Magazine, Process (published by the Long Island Poetry Collective), the Performance Poets Association Anthologies, and a collection of his poems entitled Memorial Day.

Tom first shared his talent through puppetry as a writer/performer for Moon Puppet Productions, Island Puppet Productions and the Nassau County Puppet Theatre. Since then, he has been an Artist in Residence at the Inter Media Art Center in Huntington, NY, and a recipient of grants from the New York State Council on the Arts and the America the Beautiful Fund.

Judith Zweiman has been an active part of the Long Island music scene since the 1970’s. She is currently an Artist in Residence at the Long Island Maritime Museum, performing traditional folk music and sea chanties with Stuart Markus as Strike the Bell, and has performed and recorded with a legion of singer-songwriters such as Christine Lavin and Martha P. Trachtenberg. Under the auspices of Hospital Audiences, Inc., Judith has been performing at nursing homes, senior residences, adult homes, and psychiatric and developmental centers since the mid ‘80’s.

A former faculty member of The Guitar Workshop of Roslyn Heights, in the ’70’s, she received a Meet the Composer grant as composer and vocalist of the jazz fusion ensemble, Ell's Kitchen. A fixture in the Greenwich Village songwriter scene of the ‘80’s, Judith recorded numerous times for Fast Folk Musical Magazine. Her song, “Heart on Ice” was covered by Shawn Colvin and Lucy Kaplansky and is currently available on the 2002 Folkways- Smithsonian compilation, Fast Folk: A Community of Singers and Songwriters. Her solo CD release is entitled Look at the Moon. Her poetry and writing have been published in Creations Magazine, the Performance Poets Association Anthologies, and Arcanum.
